JM Trade Solutions ("we", "us") is based in the United Kingdom and is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us: name, phone, email, trade, location, plan and message.
- Account details if you sign up: email address and sign-in information.
- Billing details handled by our payment provider (we never see or store full card numbers).
- Enquiries your own customers send through your JM Trade Solutions form, stored on your behalf.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the service you signed up for.
- To send enquiry alerts and service emails.
- To take payments, manage subscriptions and keep financial records.
Our lawful bases are performing a contract with you, our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries, and legal obligations such as keeping tax records. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Your customers' data
When tradespeople use our service, they are the controller of their own customers' enquiries and we act as their processor, storing and delivering those enquiries only on their instructions.
Who we share it with
Trusted providers who help run the service: website hosting and database, email delivery, and card payment processing. Each is bound to protect your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while they are useful for replying and following up, account data while your account is open, and billing records for six years as required by UK tax law.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Email jmtradesolution@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
